HEALTHY PARENTS. HEALTHY CHILDREN. HEALTHY FAMILIES.
Parenthue

LIFE. FAMILY. IN FULL COLOR.

OUR STORY

Built for the families the world forgot to center

Parenthue is a premium lifestyle media brand created for Black and Brown families — celebrating the full, beautiful complexity of who we are.

OUR MISSION

To reflect, celebrate, and serve Black and Brown family life in all its dimensions

We believe that Black and Brown families deserve media that sees them fully — not as a niche, not as an afterthought, but as the vibrant, multidimensional people they are. Parenthue exists to fill that space: with stories that resonate, advice that respects your intelligence, and a community that feels like home.

"We are not filling a gap. We are building something that should have always existed."

HOW WE STARTED

A kitchen table conversation that became a movement

Parenthue was born from a simple frustration: the best parenting and lifestyle media in the world rarely reflected the families we knew. The advice was generic. The images were homogeneous. The stories felt like they were written for someone else.

So we built something different. A magazine and media brand that starts from the premise that Black and Brown family life is not a variation on a theme — it is a rich, specific, joyful, complicated, beautiful thing that deserves its own voice.

Since our founding, we have grown into a community of hundreds of thousands of families across the country — connected by a shared belief that our stories matter, our experiences are worth telling, and our children deserve to see themselves at the center of the world.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Our values

Authentic Representation

We show Black and Brown families as they actually are — complex, joyful, striving, and whole. Not stereotypes. Not exceptions. Just people.

Editorial Excellence

We hold ourselves to the highest standards of journalism and storytelling. Our readers deserve writing that is beautiful, rigorous, and true.

Community First

Everything we build is in service of our community. Their needs, their stories, and their futures shape every decision we make.

Generational Thinking

We think in generations. The work we do today is for the children who will grow up seeing themselves reflected in our pages.
